Description

Black and white photo of an indoor swimming facility. In the foreground, extending at an angle toward the rear, is a large water-filled pool with floating lane markers and markers at the bottom of the pool. At the very left are tiles and closer to the water is a black device for standing and diving. There is a person swimming in the pool. In the background is a smaller pool filled with water. At the end of that pool are two low diving springboards and a higher platform and springboard. Two individuals are visible in that pool. There are windows all around and above what seems to be an entrance is an image of a sun with a face inside. There is what appears to be a portable observation stand and other railings. Lights are visible in the ceiling. On two of the walls are columns with an opening that may be a ventilation system. There is a white border on all sides with the top and bottom borders being larger. On the back in black ink is "77%" and "refreshingly wet". This image was probably published in the Lacey Leader newspaper.
