Description

Black and white photo of four individuals. On the left is a girl with dark hair and a long white dress. Behind her is another girl with dark hair and a white blouse over a light colored skirt and long stockings and tennis shoes. On the right is a girl with light colored hair and a long white dress. The girls are looking at the "pockets" of a woman dressed in costume. She has a Derby hat over short hair and glasses. She has a fake nose and is wearing a checked jacket over a dark tee and medium dark trousers. She has a tie loosely knotted round her neck and her jacket has pockets and flaps sewn into it. They all are standing on a carpet in front of a white wall with what appears to a be baseboard heating at the bottom. There is a white border on all sides. On the back in ink is "St. Andrews U M Church left to right Charlene Nichols Nancy Maltby 'Mrs. Pockets' Bernice Chaplin Carrie Nichols". In green felt pen is "85%". This image was probably published in the Lacey Leader newspaper.
