Description

Two Dollar Bills, 1976. These two black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show two and three American two dollar bills laying on a table in various configurations. Image 13 shows one two dollar bill laying face-up and an adjacent two dollar bill laying face-down. The face-up bill is in the upper half of the image frame. Image 14 is nearly identical to image 13. Image 15 shows three two dollar bills laying on top of each other. The bills are offset from each other so at least a portion of all three bills is visible. Image 16 shows two two dollar bills laying on top of each other, and a single two dollar bill laying next to them. Image 17 is similar to images 13 and 14, but here the face-down bill is in the upper half of the image frame. Image 18 is nearly identical to image 17. Image 19 is nearly identical to images 13 and 14. Image 20 shows two two dollar bills laying ont he table, but the photographer has changed their perspective to be looking diagonally at the two bills. Printed in alternation along one long edge of these two film negative strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."
