US Post Office, 1976. These two black and white contact print strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a woman and a man posing for photos behind the customer service desk at a United States Post Office location, and the man assisting a male customer at the same desk. Image 25 shows the man and the woman posing for a photo. The woman has a large smile on her face, and the man has a closed-lipped smile. Image 26 is similar to the previous image, but here the woman is showing a closed-lipped smile and the man is showing teeth. Image 27 is similar to image 25, but here the woman is smiling less fully. Image 28 is similar to the previous images, but here the woman is not smiling. Image 29 shows the man seen in the previous four images helping a customer at the desk. The man behind the desk is leaning forward on the desk and appears to be touching something on the desk with his right hand. The customer has their back facing the camera. Image 30 is very similar to the previous image, but here the man behind the counter is standing more upright and his right hand is lifted off of the desk. Image 31 is similar to image 30, but here the man behind the counter is again more upright and he has an envelope or sheet of paper in his right hand. Image 32 is similar to images 29 through 31, but here the woman seen in images 25 through 28 is behind the desk instead of the man. Here the woman is looking toward the customer with her mouth open slightly. Image 33 is similar to the previous image, but here the woman is handing something to the customer. Image 34 is again similar to the previous images, but here the woman appears to be laughing and the customer is facing toward the camera.Made/Created
