Description

Timberline High School Bicentennial, 1976. These two black and white contact print strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a seated woman in glasses and a young woman in an apron attaching strips of newsprint to a ball sitting on top of a bucket or garbage can. Image 42 shows the women working on their project. Both are looking down at the ball, and both of their faces are tipped downward. Image 43 is similar to the previous image, but the two women's faces are tipped downward at a lesser angle. Image 44 shows the younger woman reaching into a box adjacent to the ball. Image 1 shows the younger woman preparing to attach a strip of paper to the ball. Image 2 is very similar to the previous image, but the photographer has moved slightly closer to the two women. Image 3 is nearly identical to image 1. Image 4 is similar to the previous image, but the older woman's head is tipped downward at a greater angle. Image 5 is nearly identical to image 4. Image 6 shows a blurry magazine or similar document laying on a desk or table.
