Description

Bicentennial Flag, 1976. This single black and white film negative strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show Lacey Mayor Karen Fraser and an unknown man holding up a United States bicentennial flag. The flag bears 13 stars and the number 76. Image 15 shows Karen Fraser and the man looking at the flag. Image 16 is nearly identical to image 15. Image 17 is very similar to the previous two images, but here both Ms. Fraser and the man are smiling. The man is also looking toward the camera. Image 18 is similar to the previous images, but Ms. Fraser and the man are looking at eachother. Image 19 is nearly identical to image 18. Printed in alternation along the bottom edge of this film negative strip is "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."
