Description

Rotary Plantings, 1976. These two black and white film negative strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show two men (Floyd Pugh at left) standing in an atrium or similar structure holding a sign which reads "PLANTINGS BY LACEY ROTARY," and the back of the head and torso of a woman reading an issue of the Lacey Leader newspaper. Image 41 shows Floyd Pugh and the unknown man holding the sign in the atrium. Images 42 through 44 and 1 through 3 are all nearly identical to image 41. Image 4 shows a woman sitting at a desk from behind. She is holding up an issue of the Lacey Leader newspaper in front of her. Image 5 is nearly identical to image 4. Image 6 is very similar to the previous two images, but here the woman has turned her head to the right , making a portion of the right-hand side of her face visible. Printed in alternation along one long edge of both of these film negative strips is "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."
