Girl with Backpack, 1978. These two black and white contact print strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a girl wearing a hiking backpack and a smaller boy adjusting the backpack. Image 14 shows the boy looking at the lower portion of the backpack. Image 15 shows the boy adjusting something on the upper part of the backpack. Image 16 shows the boy adjusting something at the middle of the backpack. He also appears to be looking toward the camera. Image 17 shows the boy adjusting something at the middle of the backpack and looking toward the backpack. The girl is looking upward and off to her left. Image 18 is very similar to image 16, but here the boy is looking toward the backpack. Image 19 shows the boy having stepped back from the girl in the backpack. He is looking toward the backpack. Image 20 is nearly identical to image 18.
