Black and white photo of two boys and a dog on a beach. The boys are apparently digging clams and each has a digging tool. One boy has on a hat and both have jackets and trousers. The dog has a black coat with a white chest. Beyond the beach is water and in the background are trees and a further shore. There is a large white border on all sides, but the left border is smaller.
