Toastmistress, 1976. This single black and white film negative strip was created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show three women standing behind a desk. The woman at center (Karen Fraser) appears to be signing a document. Image 28 shows Ms. Fraser with her head held upright. Image 29 is very similar to the previous image, but here Ms. Fraser has tipped her head toward her left. Image 30 is nearly identical to image 28. Image 31 shows Ms. Fraser looking toward the woman on her right. Image 32 is nearly identical to images 29 and 30. Toastmistresses was an international group founded to assist members in improving their public speaking skills. It was the female equivalnt of Toastmasters. Printed in alternation along the bottom edge of this film negative strip is "KODAK SAFETY FILM" and "KODAK TRI X PAN FILM."
