Russell Shingle Mill employees, circa 1920. Black and white 8" x 10" photographic copy print, probably made from a negative. Picture is of a two horse team pulling a wagon loaded with wooden shingles. The horses are dark colored with a white stripe down the forehead. Frank Russell is seated on top of the wagon and is holding the reins. To his right is a dog with floppy ears. He is dressed in overalls and a long-sleeved dark colored shirt. There are eight men standing in a row directly in front of the wagon and a single man in front of them with his arm up, possibly holding on to something. All of the men are wearing work clothes (overalls or long pants and long-sleeved shirts). From left to right is pictured Thomas N. Russell, Fred Russell, Vern Skinner and the rest are unknown. A split rail fence is behind the wagon. A number of tall pine trees can be seen in the background.
