The squirrel’s nose is painted black, and its teeth were once painted white, but it has flaked. On the right of the squirrel when viewed straight on is stamped “BREBA / Made in Germany”. The bobble mechanism consists of an internal rotating metal wire, loosely attached to a metal bracket connected to the squirrel’s neck.
