USAF Jet at South Sound Center, Unknown Date. These two black and white contact print strips were created for the Lacey Leader newspaper. These images show a military fighter jet, the cockpit of the jet, and a trailer. These images were captured in the South Sound Center parking lot.
Images 43 and 44 show the exterior of the jet. The jet is parked and the cockpit is open. Images 1 and 2 show the jet's cockpit. Images 3 and 4 show a a parked trailer. Printed on the side of the trailer is a Washington Air National Guard logo and "256 COMBAT COM SQ (AF..." (the door of the trailer is open, obscuring some of the text), "Camp Murray Tacoma" and a phone number. A man in a military uniform is standing just to the left of the trailer. Images 5 and 6 are virtually identical to images 43 and 44.
