A paper Warranty Deed for four lots in Thurston County, between what is now Cherry St., Jefferson St., and 14th and 15th Avenues. It is dated 1889. It is folded in half. The paper is somewhat yellowed, and there is a border on both sides of the sheet. The border is comprised of a central 'blank' line with a pink line next to it, and a blue line on the outsides of the pink lines. The 'top' of the folded document includes the notary's statement (certifying that on January 21st, 1889, Joseph and Mary Lammon appeared before the notary, J.L. Henderson), Henderson's signature, and a stamped foil seal. The 'bottom' of the folded document identifies it as a Warranty Deed (No 3554), from the Lammons to George W. and Lucinda N. Bowker. It also includes the county date, location of the Records of the County, and the auditor's signature, John P. Tweed.
The inside of the document identifies the parties, the price ($350 in gold coins), the land being sold, and includes all necessary signatures (Lucinda Bowker, J.L. Henderson, Joseph M. Lammon, and Mary Lammon).Dimensions
