5" x 8" photographic print of Washington School in about 1916. The view is from the corner of Legion Way and Eastside Street. A man, possibly the janitor or Mr. Setchfield, is standing on the sidewalk in front of the school. He is wearing dark pants and button-down shirt, a cap with a brim. He appears to be wearing a backpack as light colored straps are visible on his shoulders.

Notes
The original instrument of donation lists the image as c. 1916. One negative card (2993) also says c. 1916. Another negative card says c. 1922. It might be because the other image in this collection was identified from the people in it as being the 1921-1922 school year, but I am not totally convinced that they are the same year given that one is identified as Dora's and the other as Joe's.
