Artifact 01-01 is a dark colored lead bushing with minor damage from an explosion.
Use
This folded sheet of lead was used to allow a smaller gun to set on a carriage that was designed for a larger piece of ordinance. It would have been placed around the trunnion of the cannon. It was associated with the debris field from the exploded cannon of the Patriot gunboat New York.
