Artifact W01-04 is a lead cannon apron with a hole pierced in it. Given its size, it is likely an apron for a swivel gun.
Use
This sheet of lead would have been placed over the touchhole of a cannon when it wasn't in use to keep water and debris from entering the gun barrel.
