Fragment, Sword, lot of 4

Name/Title

Fragment, Sword, lot of 4

Description

Artifact lot 00-06 is a collection of 4 pieces of sword fragments. They may be associated with 01-02. The blade has a triangular cross-sectional shape with a ferule running the length of the fragment. Researchers believed this might be a bayonet blade, however, the width of the blade and the extension of the top-side groove along the entire length of the artifact isnt consistent with a bayonet blade. the type of blade suggests that it was part of a small sword, similar in type to what an officer would have worn.
