Description

Artifact LC-85-2-26 is one (1) white ceramic plate with small frond detailing on the outer rim and a scalloped detail on inner setting. The plate has a brown band of discoloration across the face and on parts of the rim and inner lip along with crazing and cracks across the surface. The bottom is a white glaze with similar but more intense brown discoloration line. The makers mark depicts a lion and unicorn on either side of a crest, beneath are the words Royal Stone China J. & M.P. Bell & Co, Glasgow.
