Description

One of two cards for J. & P. Coats. This card has a color image of an old, European looking man smoking a pipe with his right hand and holding a young girl between his knees with the other. The young girl is playing at catching the smoke from the pipe. In the corner is a spool of thread with "J. & P. Coats" on it. *Made: unknown for sure, but it matches 2011.002.045 which says, "Schumecher (obscured) & Ettlinger, N.Y.".
