Location: Room 204 Business Shelves, Box of Lake County Nursery Info., Box is marked with "D.W. Dewey Salesman Sample Book"/. Other Name: Salesman Sample Nursery Salesman Sample book created by D. W. Dewey of New York. It contains color plates of images of plants. The process to create plates was lithography, cromolithography, then hand painting. The paint on some of the plates has smudged. Used by salesmen representing a wholesale plant supplier, would use the book to sell plant varieties to nurseries.
