Description

Gilt and cut crystal chandelier, electrified. A) Main body of chandelier: round lower brass rim w/gilt scroll motif; ceiling mount part is round w/gilt grape leaves & grapes; resembles a crown; eight "candles" w/glass holders and bobeches & flame-shaped bulbs on lower rim; X-shaped support arms in center of lower rim; brass tubular shaft has 4, electric sockets for additional light bulbs. B) Chandelier bottom: 3-tiered, graduated, concentric cirlces of brass. C) Main crystal drop: round and facetted crystal. D) - (U): Various lengths and styles of crystal prism drops and ropes (see 4x6 card attached to accession card for specific measurements and descriptions).
