The house is a story and a half Adam style house. The main portion of the house was constructed in 1818 with a stone foundation. An addition was added 1836. The main entrance is centered on the side gabled front of the house. It has a door surround with a transom window. There are two windows with shudders on each side. Below the bracketed roof eaves there are three small rectangular windows. The side of the house has a small porch that is supported by square columns. Behind the porch is also a one story part of the house, this is likely the addition. From the side of the house the cornice returns are visible.
