Status: Record Updated Street Address: 37900 Depot Street City: Willoughby LCHS ID #: 107 Year Built: 1853 Architectural Style: Vernacular Gothic Revival Applicant Name: Commonwealth Lumber Company Description and Notes: The dwelling at 37900 Depot Street used to be a train depot for the Cleveland, Painesville & Ashtabula Railroad Company. It has since been turned into the location for the Commonwealth Lumber Company. The dwelling is a 8 bay by 2 bay structure. The side with 8 bays serves as the front with three entrances, though only one is used now. The entrances are on the second, fourth and eighth bays from the left side of the structure. All the windows are 6/6 and are hooded with slightly pointed peaks. The entrances also have these peaked hoods. The roof has very large over hangs with brackets. This is a vernacular take on Gothic Revival style architecture. This style is present in the eaves, brackets, and slightly pointed hoods over the windows and doors.
