Balstad Description and Notes: The house is a three bay wide, three story dwelling in the Second Empire style. The first story has a central entry way with double doors with glass above them. This bay protrudes slightly from the main facade and has a covering that doubles as a balcony for the story above it. The right bay is the same height as the main entrance with a rounded top and hooded lintel. The left bay window mimics the design of this window, but that portion of the house is recessed back slightly. There is a belt corse between the first and second stories. The second story windows are shorter than the first story's. The left and right most bays have windows with rounded tops and hooded lintels. The central bay has two thin windows with rounded tops and the hooded lintels. There is a dentil bracket under the roof line. The third story roof has three dormer windows which line up with bays below them. These are square windows with curved roofs.
