Description and Notes: This was originally a hotel/saloon - Grand River Hotel. Many authentic nautical items hang through out the restaurant. Included in the file are deeds, tax files, pictures, and maps. Allot of history of the restaurant.
This building is a blend of Folk Victorian and Italianate styles and is a corner store. The store is two stories high and had some spindle work detail over the cut corner in the 1960s. The building has since been renovated with vinyl siding and its windows replaced and decorative shudders added.
