Description

Leather document roll (originally dyed yellow?). Inside has a 3" wide strip divided into alphabetical pockets that are stitched onto the roll. Pockets have paper labels, glued on, w/ alphabet letters in black ink (e.g.:"A.B.") "B.Sawyer/ Dubuque" written in black on inside flap near leather tie strap. Roll held closed by leather strap. Part of the Sawyer collection--1960.A7. items 1 -61.
