Long white cotton christening dress and slip worn by James Harrow Smart at his christening in 1875.
(A) Dress has yoke of vertical pin tucks centered w/eyelet band, vertical pin tucks at hem & inset eyelet band, scalloped eyelet at hem, long sleeves w/pin tucks between eyelet at hem.
(B) Slip has simple bodice w/ string ties; hem has band of pin tucks and scallop eyelet hem.
