(A) 5 page rough draft of the history of the state park.with references to early ownership, when the park was founded, 1948, but did not open until 1953. A few of the early managers are noted, Harold Merillat, 1953-1955 and improvements made through the years until 1971 are mentioned. (B) Also attached is a letter to Carl Engel, Lake County Historical Society, from Sharon A. Bezoski, Park Ranger; Headlands Beach State Park thanking him for his help.
