Description

Iron, kerosene lamp w/attached (soldered) wall hanging plate. "CORNELIUS & CO./PHILAD/PATENT/APRIL 1ST 18?3" stamped in hanging plate; two holes for hanging. Round, vented, kerosene font & oblong reservoir. Two screws @ top sides of font to hold chimney (missing). Round wick opening. Residue of fuel still in font/reservoir.

May have been used in a railroad car.
