To: Sister Jones from A.R.Robertson, New Orleans - Departed Cincinnati on Friday on the "Wyoming". 1st accident: stuck on sand bar 2-3 hours. 2nd : jammed in narrow channel with another boat - 2 days. Paducah delayed for additional cargo. A Negro (about 17) pulled over board while drawing water from the swift current and drowned almost immediately. A wedding was postponed because of the weather. Sent Weekly Delta about wedding. Gillet and I now live separately. Family/friendship good.
