Scope and Content

Title "The Angel" - about the angel of death. Several notes: (1) Jonathan Goldsmith, Old Millford, Conn. native came to Ohio 1811; served in 1812. Died September 27, 1847. Aged 63years 1month, 15days. (2) Elkanah Jones died September 19, 1849. Aged 88years 4month 22days. (3) Benaiah Jones died Jonesville, Hillsday Co., Michigan - August 18, 1839. Aged 89 years 7 days. (4) Jones native of Hebron, Conn. and Revoluntionary soldiers (5) Jemima Skinner Jones, wife of Benaiah, died January 12, 1820, aged 62 minus 7 months, 2 days. (6) Mother's birthday 97 years ago (1756). (7) Wrote to Delor and Benaiah on August 9, 1855. Owned by Frank Goldsmith Johnson Dimensions: Height 12 3/4" Width 7 3/4"
