Description

Civil War, black leather, primer pouch w/tin insert w/5 segments. Pouch has inner security flap stamped " H.A. Dingee N- York." Pouch also has envelope pocket w/ flap strap. Back of pouch has 2 straps for carrying on belt. Outer flap originally held a brass oval stamped "U.S."

Use

Carried by Union cavalryman in Civil War.
