Engraving , titled "Shepherdess and Sheep" shows a shepherdess and flock of sheep emerging from woods on a road. Large birch trees show in back left. Work is framed in ivory an carved gilt. Work is signed W.L. Lathrop in pencil in lower right corner.
It also has a border etching of part of a house and trees.
