Description

Wooden tennis racket w/slightly grooved handle and 5/8 " leather strip nailed to end of handle. Racket made of several colored woods. Strung, but many of strings are broken. On one side is drawing of man swinging racket and standilng on a globe. "TRADE MARK/ WRIGHT & DITSON/ CHAMPIONSHIP/ REG. U.S.PAT. OFF./ MADE IN USA" On other side, painted w/ gold letters: "WRIGHT/ & DITSON/ BOSTON/ MASS/ USA" Stamped on side: " PATENTED JAN. 3, '05"
