WW II naval uniform shirt (middy) in heavy navy wool w/sailor collar w/three bands of white braid around edge and three similar bands on each cuff.
Slash breast pocket and band @center front to hold scarf.
Left arm has chevron patch of eagle over propeller w/wings; indicates aviation machinist mate.
Right arm has diamond-shaped patch w/possible aerial gunner insiginia.
On red chevron stripe indicates 3rd Class Petty Officer.
