Black and white close-up photo of the storage tank section of the rotary filter process at Dow , at the stage pictured, the magnesium hydroxide is saturated with seawater, and as much of this as is possible must be removed in a filtering operation. The filters used are simply rotary driven which permit internal suction to be applied until a cake of magnesiom hydroxide about 1 1/2 inches is built up.Collection
