Brown, with bow tie; items (b & c) inside. Brown, green, and red basket with blue satin ribbon attached to top under handle. The lid is hinged to bottom and has loop in front to secure closure. Basket is made of strips of woven straw. Some damage to the corners. Green and red decoration is stained and glossed wood or reed and secured with small nails. Handle lies flat and is wrapped with woven straw.
Bottom on basket is made from same materials and the pattern matched the lid. Some unknown stains on side and back towards the bottom.
Basket bottom made from wooden frame and woven raffia, secured with knots and nails.
Inside basket is lined with a silky magenta fabric and trimmed with darker magenta woven band. Inside lid is tufted with 11 small thread wrapped buttons. Bottom is padded. Lining is loose in back, right corner.Dimensions
