metal locking cash box; green with "E.W. Wegner" stenciled on the side in white paint. Metal locking box with scratches and residue/tape residue. Flip up lid has handle that folds into the top of the lid and rests in recess. Debossed in the recess is "THE INTERIOR STEEL EQUIP. CO./CLEVLAND O." Front of the box has "Postage Due/E.W. WEGNER" stenciled in white paint and two pieces of clear tape. Bottom right front has a label, mounted on foam core, attached. It reads "Post Offices Boxes & Equipment - Curcia 1930/1940/From the Tacoma Downtown Post Office - 11th and A Streets/Financial Support By Samuel Brown Made The Exhibit Possible". Back has one small white sticker in the lower left corner with "PO it 271" written on it. All sides have chipping paint, scuffs, and wear. Inside has two keys taped to the bottom
