For the 224th Battalion & 138th Aviation Cov. One side of coin, outer blue band with inner red circle. On the outside blue band, "LEFT GAB / U.S. ARMY" on either side of the blue band is for five-point stars. The interior red circle has left boxing gloves, brown, silver, and gold. At knuckles 6 gold lightning bolts. Beneath the glove is printed "WE REMEMBER." Other side of coin Black exterior band with white center. Balck band "CPT MICHAEL W. MARKER - W01 HARROLD L. ALGAARD / SP6 JOHN T. STRAWN - SP5 RICHARD J. HENTZ - SP5 RODNEY D. OSBORNE." The inteorior of the coin had a black and white plane at the center with a military airforce star on the left rear. Written above and below plane "138 AVN. CO. [RR] / VANGUARD 216 / 4 MAR1971." below in small plaque "78" printed inside. Debossed on bottom of coin "COINFORCE"Use
