6 color prints from the 103rd birthday celebration for Ms. Katie Hopkins (Catherine Johnstone Hopkins) at St. Mark's Church. Katie was born in 1906 and she wanted to attend services one more time, as she was at that point living in a nursing facility.
Mary Brown, Jackie Jones' sister, made the quilt for Katie and Jackie Jones cross-stitched the backing. Jackie still has the quilt, as Katie gave it to her for safe keeping.
Katie was born in 1906 and died in 2012, one of the oldest members of St. Mark's and the Grove.
Included are a two-page letter detailing Katie's life, and pictures of the quilt back.Collection
