LAG, per Gahn family history, was one of the few photographers allowed to photograph the Canadian quints before 1940. Whereas the published history does not include LAG as a Quint photographer in this period, the contract between the Canadian government, the Quints official guardians, and the family allowed the family to select the photographer. Per Gahn family history, the Dionne family liked and trusted Larry Gahn, thus allowed him to photographer the children. The photographs were likely taken when the regular Dionne family photographer was on assignment elsewhere. The Lancaster family archives have Quint images from 1936 and 1938 (shown here).
