The May 1939 Editor & Publisher Magazine article (pg 10) recounting the coverage of the submarine Squalus disaster off the coast of New Hampshire. As a photographer for Acme News Picture, LAG was part of that coverage. In the end, of the fifty nine men trapped 240 ft. under water in the Squalus, twenty six of the sailors drowned.
