Description

These are, circa 1948, traditional Korean embroidered shoes, 4.75 inches, commonly known as danghye or kkotsin (meaning "flower shoes"). They are typically worn with the traditional Korean outfit called a hanbok, especially for special occasions like weddings or festivals. The tops are fabric and soles are made of rubber (hardened).
