Lviv! You beautiful city, O Lviv! Where wild Russian rule raged so fiercely. - To Lviv - to Lviv, soldiers must be; O do not weep, my love - Soon we will march in again. Cossacks - Cossacks, they ride through the city, and Nicholas II, marches in with his council. Cossacks! - Cossacks! Soon you must leave again, For our Thirty-Four, They want to stay here at home. Cannons - they thunder; The Russians are withdrawing. Near Lviv, Russians fell by the thousands into the grave.
