Similar to your other wire-wrapped specimens, this staff is engineered as a high-tensile composite, using the natural flexibility of bamboo and the structural containment of metallic braiding to create a tool of extreme durability and percussive power. Core Components & Engineering The Shaft (Home-Grown "Male" Bamboo): Harvested from your personal farm growth and treated with Olive Oil. The Process: The oil-immersion process ensures that the internal fibers of the bamboo remain "elastic." This is critical for a 5.25-foot staff; the oil prevents the bamboo from drying out and becoming brittle, allowing it to act as a natural shock-absorber during heavy impact. The Braiding (Brass Wire Mesh): The entire length of the staff is encased in a continuous brass wire braid. * Structural Containment: The wire acts as a permanent "clamp," preventing the bamboo from expanding or splitting under load. Surface Friction: The knotted texture of the braid ensures a high-certainty grip, regardless of whether the hands are damp from the weather or high-intensity movement.
