Core Components & Overbuilt Engineering
The Blade (Tanto Geometry): Forged from thick ATS-34 or CPM-S30V high-performance steel, the blade features a modified Tanto point. This geometry creates a secondary "corner" on the edge, which is devastating for slicing, while the reinforced tip is designed for high-force prying and armor penetration without snapping.
The Spine: Features aggressive notched thumb jimping and a partial serrated section at the base. This provides the user with multiple "process-stable" grip points for high-torque tasks.
The Hilt (G-10 Scales): The handle is composed of black G-10 scales with a high-traction, textured finish. G-10 is a high-pressure fiberglass laminate that is virtually indestructible—it does not absorb moisture, swell, or crack, making it a modern mechanical successor to the antler and horn found in your antique daggers.
Construction: This is a full-tang beast. The steel of the blade runs the entire length of the handle and terminates in a heavy exposed steel pommel, designed for blunt-force hammering or glass-breaking.
