This is a contemporary, custom-forged Pesh Kabaz, a high-performance reconstruction of the classic Indo-Persian armor-piercing dagger. While not an antique, it is built with a "Process reliant" focus on structural integrity and functional geometry, featuring an impressive 16-inch blade that pushes it into the category of a short sword or Khyber knife variant. The Blade: Measuring 16 inches, the blade is exceptionally long for the form. It maintains the traditional Pesh Kabaz profile: a straight spine and a recurved edge that tapers to a needle-sharp, reinforced point. It features a deep T-section spine—a critical engineering element that provides immense longitudinal rigidity, ensuring the blade will not bend or snap when encountering hard targets. Hilt: the hilt is a full-tang construction, fitted with contoured wooden grip scales featuring deep, diagonal ergonomic grooves for a secure, non-slip hold. The bolster is made of brushed steel, transitioning cleanly into the blade. Finish: The steel exhibits a clean, modern satin finish, highlighting the precision of the contemporary forging and grinding process.
