My Design & Engineering Observations
My Choice of Blade Architecture (The Traditional Rampuri Clip):
I am looking at a 3.5-inch high-carbon steel blade featuring a radical Long-Clip Point geometry.
My Technical Logic: The "clipped" distal section thins the mass toward the tip, allowing for extreme Point-Pressure Concentration. I notice the "Working Finish" on the flats, documenting the manual forge-craft of the Rampur master smiths.
My Radical Left-Handed Engineering (The Inverted Lock):
The most significant feature of this unit is the Anticlockwise Rotational Trigger.
My Mechanical Logic: In a standard right-handed Rampuri, the blade deploys clockwise relative to the release button. I have personally re-engineered the internal leaf-spring and pivot geometry so that it opens Anticlockwise.
My Administrative Intent: This provides a left-handed user with a state of "Deployment Certainty," allowing the thumb to apply force in a natural anatomical arc that standard domestic tools do not accommodate.
My Hilt & Material Synthesis (Brass and Rosewood):
The hilt is constructed from dark polished wood scales secured with three pins and finished with the iconic Fishtail Brass Pommel.
