My Design & Engineering Observations
My Choice of Blade Architecture (The Upswept Recurve):
I am looking at a single-edged blade featuring a radical Trailing Point (upswept) profile with a subtle recurve near the hilt.
My Technical Logic: The upswept tip extends the total length of the cutting edge relative to the spine. This provides me with a significantly higher Slicing Yield. The recurve near the ricasso acts as a mechanical trap, capturing material and pulling it into the edge for a more authoritative cut.
My Hilt & Ergonomic Architecture:
The hilt is a masterpiece of Tactical Indexing, featuring deep Anatomical Finger Grooves secured by robust brass pins.
My Mechanical Logic: These grooves lock my hand into a specific anatomical position, ensuring that even under high-velocity maneuvers, the tool cannot "roll" in my palm.
The Brass Hardware: I have a polished brass cross-guard and a flared pommel cap. The pommel acts as my Mechanical Stop, ensuring absolute Retention Certainty and providing me with a high-leverage extraction point.
My Ornamental Presentation Sheath:
Unlike my field-grade assets, I’ve opted for a specialized sheath featuring a Gold-Tone Brocade Textile inlay and a heavy-duty black nylon border.
